I had the pleasure of photographing the union of Sara and Gregg on Saturday night at Sara’s parents house in Park Hill. Rarely do I get the opportunity to photograph an event that is so intimate and emotional. I felt honored to be there and left feeling like I had just met a family that I hope to know for a very long time.

I had no idea how truly beautiful this winter wedding would be…. I laughed, cried, sang, and even shared a glass of wine with the family. I’ve never seen a bride and groom more at peace than Sara and Gregg were Saturday. And Gregg was smiling from ear to ear all night—all night!

Thank you so much Sara and Gregg for inviting me to share this day with you. I will treasure these images and remember this night to be one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever attended— In so many ways. God bless you.

Ellen, Sara’s mom was really concerned about me photographing the getting ready shots in her bedroom because she thought it was “out of date”, but I thought it was stunning! I wish my bedroom looked like hers! The light coming in was beautiful, and they have gorgeous warm floral wall paper that made everything feel cozy and comfortable.

Jewish ceremonies incorporate so many lovely traditions. Sara and Gregg lit candles for those loved ones who have passed on, as well as for their friend and family who couldn’t attend this night’s ceremony.

I love this shot. Gregg’s sister in law is blind. They asked her to hold the light during the ceremony (another wonderful tradition). I love how the candle is illuminating her eyes.

In Jewish tradition, the bride and groom take 15 minutes alone after the ceremony. I peaked my head through the door to grab this shot…

After the ceremony, we all drove over to Strings to celebrate! Great restaurant!
