Jill and Jay
Jill and Jay had a gorgeous fall wedding at the Montview Pres church in City Park. Even though the ceremony was indoors (in a beautiful cathedral), we still had a chance to sneak in some outdoor photos—both in daylight and in the dark.
I think I love the ceremony images the best… the emotion and story of it all. Faith, the flowergirl is Jay’s daughter, and she was holding back the tears the entire time. I also love tenderness of Jill’s father and his giving away of Jill. Beautiful moment!
Look how beautiful and serene Jill looks here! She has these amazing chocolate brown doe eyes that seemed ever more innocent under the veil…
This is just a quirky Julie Harris shot. I love the juxtaposition between the beautiful bride and the not so beautiful room.
Sweet moment between Jill and Faith
I love this image of Jill’s maid of honor losing it, and Jill’s attempt to stop the tears! Breathe!!!
Priceless look on everybody’s face here….
Faith trying to hold back the tears… I don’t think she was successful!
It’s always rather hard to find a good outdoor spot to do photos—especially when you’re not surrounded by city lights. But I love this little alley way at the church—this may sound cheesy and like I have a huge imagination, but it reminded me of something I’ve seen in Italy.
This is the same alley way–not looking as romantic with all the guys in there, instead of Jill and Jay, but I love the laughter and joy of this image!
This is a sweet shot of Faith with her Daddy… she’s genuinely smiling here.. something that was hard to get out of her all day.
