Nope! Not engagement photos…. Carrie and Corey (awwwwww…) wanted some “couple photos”—-married couple photos, which I think is a brilliant thing to do! We often have these “landmark” times where we do fancy photos–ie, engagement, wedding, anniversary photos, but sometimes we miss out on documenting some of the most beautiful and simple times of our lives. My husband Jesse and I actually had some “married couple” photos taken by Melanie Blaire in Seattle last October while we were vacationing, and had such a good time hamming it up! I would recommend it to anyone who needs an extra “spice” in their normal day to day married lives 
Carrie and Corey chose to do their session at Golden Gate State Park, which was beautiful! I had never been there before, so thank you Carrie and Corey for the suggestion! They were truly one of the nicest couples I have ever met… sincerely beautiful people. And great sports too! I made them lie in the grass and let the bugs feast on them—seriously, Carrie had blood on her face!
This photo, by definition is “formal”. But there is something about it that I love—it’s quite nostalgic… an heirloom of sort.
I like this picture as a whole—every subject seems to be about to kiss…
