Laci and Ryan

I wish I would have gotten to know Laci and Ryan a bit better…. We met on Saturday at their wedding! The biggest thing that stood out to me about the couple, is how they belonged together. It was like they just totally relaxed and melted when they were around each other, and I found that photographing them in a more candid way portrayed this rather, than standing around and having them pose… (which I don’t really like to do anyhow)!

Shelly’s tears started when Lacey walked through the doors of the church, and didn’t seem to stop until after the father daughter dance.

Normally, I am so focused on the bride walking down the isle and the groom’s face when he first sees her, that I hardly have time to capture other people’s expressions, but when I saw Laci’s Grandmother grab Shelly’s hand when Laci made her entrance, it was a decisive moments. I love this shot.

I don’t normally do this shot, but this bridal party had so much energy and were all so cute… notice the bare feet!
